Help please! VXR8 Keys Locked in Boot!!!

Evening all,
I'm a frequent lurker, but this is my first post in the HSV forum and I'm hoping for some urgent help.
I've stupidly shut the boot of my VXR8 with the keys inside. To make matters worse I'm away for the weekend and my spare is at home 250 miles away. Is there any way to release the boot of a locked car to retrieve the keys, other than breaking something?
Obviously I don't advocate posting such a solution on the internet. If you can help me or know somebody who can please get in touch on,.......The car is currently stuck in Chester-Le-Street, Durham.
Does anyone know an ex-car thief in the area who works for beer tokens?!

Many thanks for your replies and suggestions. I'm now back in the car. It turns out that a locked Holden is a very difficult thing to gain access to!! After posting here last night I thought the best initial move was to go for a few beers to chill out (The issue had put me in a foul mood).
This morning I spoke to a couple of Vauxhall parts/service guys, who couldn't do anything to help but advised trying an auto locksmith. I had a guy come straight out. Unfortunately he didn't have the right lock picking tool to fit the car but he tried the airbag in the door/long rod method. What could be reached, and how much his rod tools could be articulated, was very limited due to the shape and thickness of the B-pillars. He opened the glovebox and could hit the boot release button, but it turns out this doesn't work when the car is locked. He was just able to reach the rocker switch on the centre console but not able to exert enough pressure to unlock it that way. He humbly admitted defeat, and clearly disappointed to be beaten he refused to take any fee for call-out. He suggested, as ARAF did, that the AA may be able to help.
I called them but they use third party locksmiths, and they are not covered under any level of policy so I set about finding another guy myself.
The next locksmith who came out set about trying to pick the lock with a Vauxhall pattern lock picking tool, which was not compatible. I googled an image of the key blade, which he recognised as looking very much like the blades Ford use so he had a crack with the Ford specific pick. It wasn't a perfect match but after 5-10mins of working it the door popped open, the alarm went off, followed by my wife leaping out of the house onto him for a big hug. He relieved me of £70 for the trouble, which I consider a great result given my next option was to drive home for my spare which would have cost a tank of fuel plus 8 hours of my time!
He did say that had it not worked this way, if it had been at a time when a dealership was open he could have cut a new key blade on site with a code from them. For those in the North East who may need this service in future, my new best friend can be found here http://morrelllocksmiths.co.uk/
