ls2 heads on to ls1

as title will ls2 heads fit the ls1 and would there be am benefits as a cheaper performance mod and if so has anyone got any available for sale

thanks for all your replys give me something to think about i am changing exhaust manifolds soon so thought if bolts snap i will be removing heads to get studs out anyway.
