I have just checked, I actually put the car in storage shortly after the Dyno Day at Surrey Rolling Road in November 2009 so we may well have crossed paths. She has a whole 25k miles on her now!Edited by TerryS on Friday 17th April 21:14

I was under the impression the vts-r had the 3.9 diff as supplied.
I used greg at protuner in coventry for my mapping.
Have you put fresh fuel in the car ? Id be looking at new fuel and then fuel pressure at first, with a lay up of that length.
Great looking example by the way.
No idea on the diff ratio, never looked into it. I know it runs a different diff to the other cars but I can't remember the details.I used greg at protuner in coventry for my mapping.

The car has an uprated fuel system with a swirl pot, 034 fuel pump and adjustable FPR so I would be surprised if it was fuel pressure. I have put new fuel with octane booster in.
Thanks for the kind words.

I believe it’s rarer than that.I bought no9 from the importer Rod Clausen brand new in 2001, just before he returned to Oz. I think it may have only been 12 GTS-R VT2’s that came over.
The rarer the better! I know a number were written off and onewas exported and sold at auction in the US or Canada for crazy money. It would be good to know for sure how many were left.
