Done some reading on forum about the front bumper (and rear) and the fit being not the best, I hadn't noticed on mine until I read about it, so my question is what's the best way to get them lined up better, the rears not bad, but I reckon I could improve the front. Don't want to blindly start tearing into her if there's a secret fix.

The rear bumper is pretty good tbh, yes it's the bit under headlight where meets the wing at front, it's pretty well attached at wheel arch end, just seems to need lifting up at front a couple of mm, I thought about a couple of washers under top screws to lift it a bit, but nervous of cracking the plastic. Been looking at more on internet, she's no worse than any others that are abit 'off' I can find.

Spent a couple of hours investigating, found all clips behind bumper near wheel arch intact thankfully, barring one lower bracket to wheel arch liner at bottom, made and fitted a replacement then adjusted the steel supports up top a bit, this made it a lot better, then had a look at the two mounts behind the number plate, found one missing and the other broken so were doing nothing. Made up some temporary hooked stainless 6mm rod and bolted it up into place, improving things even more. Then losened the screws along top of bumper to allow it to adjust itself, this seemed to align things up pretty much ok, tightened em up again and that'll do. All good! Now to use her a bit wink

Aussie GTO's have these brackets for the front HSV bumper to keep it flush with the guard.
There was something very similar on the insides of my bumper mounted on the wing, the bumper hooked over them, all intact thankfully!!
