Hello, I bought an '04' Monaro the other week and think it's fantastic. I've done about 500 miles in it and after having a bit of 'fun' now need to buy some new rear tyres! Could anyone recommend tyres for the Monaro? Should I stick with the Bridgestones or is there something better out there?

Still dead impressed with my F1s [/quote]

Thanks - perhaps I'm being dumb but how do you search the forum to find stuff like this?

The search button is up the top just under the banner ad. Select "forum" from the drop-down list, then you can enter in your search criteria and select which forum(s) you want to search plus some other settings.

Welcome to the forum and to Monaro ownership btw

A-ha - I was looking at the forum using a different web address so none of the options at the top were visable... using pistonheads.com now and works fine.

Thanks again...

Booster - very nice, but I'm no tyre expert can I just go into the shop and ask for 'mcd' will they know what I'm on about. I also notice from other posts that some drivers have opted for different sizes (fatter , etc) what are your thoughts on that?

Whoops, so OK what do I ask for when I pop into the shop? From your photos I can't make out the name of them...
