Anybody have a link or know where I can purchase a replacement 6 pin connector for the heater amp? the board is OK its just the connector on the loom end (car) that has melted a little! and I cant get a good connection.

Thanks for the info. The company you mention is down the road from me, the unit itself is fine its just the plug that is iffy. Might try maplin, failing that I will solder and shrink direct to the pins.

I had exactly the same happen to me some years ago. I think I ended up coming up with a solution as suggested after failing to source the connector. I'll have a look through to find my original thread on here. Here are te images though:

Beats mine, thats well toated. There is very little melting if any, just a dodgy connection, might take the pins outand have a look at them first.

Good thread resurrection - 7 years. I can confirm relocating to the heater vent works well as mine is still going 7 years on biggrin

Hi all. Convenient for me that this topic was resurrected too. I bought a Tamora a few weeks ago with a few known problems to sort including the heater fans not working. I assumed it was the normal connector problem, but turns out I'm missing the heater amplifier circuit completely! Options?
Any sources of new or used boards?
Any details of pinouts or full circuit details so I can make a new one?
Any way I can bridge the connector pins temporarily so I just have full on/off fan control?
Thanks for any help.
Jody at Python racing does a lot of TVR stuff too, Using him currently to get a door ECU done, have used Paul in the past but he is notoriously difficult to get hold of.
