That you realise why you bought and mollycoddle these cars, when everything just clicks.

Went out for a great blast around the Forest roads, roof off, sun shining, car fully on song - it makes you forget all the negatives you went through to get the car this far (with still much more to go..) I went to pick my step son up from work, should have been a 30 mile round trip - but Ethan (my step son) was enjoying it so much on the way home, we went the long way back home, through some fantastic B-Roads. Only 2nd and 3rd gear were required, the ratios were perfect, made me think twice about a CR box - and it was one of those rare times that we were the only ones on the road.

What a fantastic little car still! So solid around the corners, and mental coming out of them, foot firmly to the floor in 2nd, the sound is biblical - even for the 3.6. My step son was grinning from ear to ear for most of the journey, he said he nearly shat himself when I took off after the lights!

Even after 12 years, there's still not a lot out there for this sort of money you can have so much fun in.

Sometimes I think to myself, should I really have spent so much money on this damn car, and thinking of spending a lot more in the future. Well, it's days like today, where they give you so much pleasure that I have to say, yes, emphatically. They are still worth it! Even had people taking pictures!

Just thought I'd share.....driving

What have you added now Nigel?

Not the best of pictures, but taken early morning whilst still wet. It's Halycon Midas Pearl. A 4.0L factory built Red Rose.
Having to live outside currently, whilst I find another garagehehe
Very nice - Love that colour. But truth be told, I think they look good in any colour...

I absolutely love all TVR's, especially the more modern ones, the Sag and T350 - but I could never buy one, as the roof doesn't come off, and for me, that's a big part of the experience. More so on days like yesterday where, instead of having to endure the smell of hot fibreglass and coolant, you can smell the tress, fauna and flora while the wind is rushing past your head whilst listening to that fantastic engine roar!

Quite a life affirming experience, and it will be a very sad day if we allow the EU to eventually legislate these adrenaline and smile-inducing marvels out of existence....
