Sorry for all the questions at the moment, I have a bit of time on my hands so having a good look round the car before heading off to France in Sept! I understand my T350 has big bore centre pipes, I am trying to identify these to confirm this.... I measured the external diameter and they are 2.5". Were the original red rose centre pipes this diameter? These are currently matched to the TVR Power Cans, which make for a lovely sound but very loud! I am also considering decats mainly to reduce temps but not sure how much louder it will be, could / probably would push it into asbo territory!

Also I now have the ACT Carbon Airbox with trumpets, should I consider a remap bearing in mind these modifications if I want to get the most out of the setup? Where is the go to place for speed six remaps currently (Kitandclassics or TVR Power?)?

As always thanks in advance!

Hi Tom, thanks for that. If you happen to be under the car anytime soon it would be great if you could measure the diameter to compare! I have not seen the connection between the centre pipes and the Powers cans, assume there must be some connection flange in between. I find it fine on the motorway at 130kmh (although try and have the panels out most of the time ) but it is sometimes a bit much on the ears between 2500-3500!

Sounds like if I was to decat I might need to reconsider the other parts of my exhausts to get the sound I am after! Just worried that if I changed I would loose some of the great sounds of the exhaust and pops and bangs are quite controllable so can be avoided if not wanted driving
