Is this vinylester?

Hi

I read somewhere in the forums that you can tell whether a T350 is made from vinylester if the fibreglass is laid as a weave rather than chopped, and the bonnets are very flimsy.

Can someone tell me if this looks like vinylester? The bonnet is certainly flimsy.

That's really interesting. Mine is also a factory Red Rose, but I don't have the build sheet so have no further information.
I've seen conflicting reports about whether Red Rose cars were lightweight as standard or as an option. "Special body" certainly suggests it's vinylester, nice one!

Thanks plasticman. Yes, I'm keeping the angle grinder well away from it! I'm over at Sussex TVR next week to get it MOT'd so hopefully a lot of questions will be answered.
