Whilst out in my Tamora today, the speedo stopped working, then the rev. counter, then everything stopped working & I mean everything. I was very near the village of Edmondbyers in the North East. It was on a B road with bends at both ends. Not at all safe. Within 5 minutes a Land Rover pulled up and put his double flashes on. Out of the vehicle comes Mark Lee a car club member. A car had passed me on the way to Edmondbyers and noted it was a TVR. The driver e mailed Mark and imemeadiately he came to see if he could help.He waited for two hours until the breakdown lorry arrived and even highlighted what the problem might be. I then went to HHC in Hexham who immediately looked to solve the problem. After an hour the problem was sorted and Mark had accurately indentifyed what the problem was. What another example of TVR owners helping each other. Thanks again Mark for your help.

Hi, After checking the three main fuses, they were found to be ok. They then checked the battery and found it to be only carrying 9 volts. They fitted a new battery and all was ok. Tony at HHC was not totally happy and asked me to monitor the volts to see if they carry 13/14 volts.
Tony did not take any payment until he was happy with the battery. The engineers looked at the problem as soon as it was off loaded which is tipical of the great service you get at HHC.

Ray.
