Going back to a standard exhaust
Discussion
My new Tamora has a sports decat and a sports exhaust. Don’t know which manufacturer. Nice sound with lots of pops on the overrun but a bit too loud to use early in the morning when my neighbour’s toddlers are sleeping.
How do I make it quieter? Do I need to get another cat and exhaust or just one of them? Or is there another solution?

Thanks for the replies chaps. The silencers are a clever idea but they’ll end up rattling around in the boot when I take them off, plus I’d probably get a bit mucky doing it and that wouldn’t work with my work clothes.
WRT to changing the exhaust...would just changing the back box do it? I don’t know why but I’ve got it into my head that the sports decat is the noisiest component. Unfortunately it’s probably the most expensive so if I could keep that and just change the back box that would be perfect.

It isn’t bad at all. It’s just different. My neighbours kids have a bedroom at the front of the house. They’re in bed by 7.30. If I have an early start I’ll wake them and if I have a late finish I’ll wake them.
The pops and crackles with the sports exhaust and decat are fun. It’s also fun giving the loud pedal a little squeeze when you start up in a busy area. Even on the motorway they’re ok. I did 150miles when I picked the car up and it was no problem at all.
