Hi, I am on the move to get speedo plates in km/h made for the above models. The plates will be as the original plates laser cut 0.5mm aluminium, anodized and printed in black bold letters as the original print was. Deviating from the original there will be enough numbers to actually read the speed ;-)

I'll do two and three digit versions.

Naked plate:

2 digit print (don't get mislead, print will be as original letters)

3 digit print (don't get mislead, print will be as original letters)

Costs will be 95 Euros international tracked shipping from Germany, I think I'll be ready to ship by mid of June. Please let me know if you are interested so that I get an idea of how many I should do. Thanks, Markus

No need to decide right now, just want to get a feeling for the quantity.

Thanks for the info, I thought this might be a difficult part of the swap. The unit I have to measure all the dimensions had no needles, hence I do not have own experiences.
How did you get them off? Maybe somebody has an example for me and I get them made as well...just in case.

Little update: Plates came back from anodizing shop but I wasn't happy with the result, the color was too dark and slightly with blue shades. After some unsuccessful discussion with them I have the plates out to another anodizing shop, he believes he can do better. Keep fingers crossed.

It worked out ok with the other anodizing shop and I still have some left

All types, that is the combination as shown (3/2 digit) plus 3/1 and 2/1 and Tuscan Mk3 with 0-320 kph 3 digit and 1 digit 0-8000 rpm with 7 to 8 in red color....really nice. regards Markus
