Sagaris bonnet clips keep coming undone.
Discussion
I'm sick and fed up of the quarter-turn fasteners on the main bonnet of the Sagaris coming undone.
Has anyone found a like-for-like replacement? I don't really want to make any bodywork modifications - I just want something that locks in place rather than using friction.
(I'm taking about the circular clips at the trailing edge of the main bonnet, which use a security Torx fastener, and are locked and unlocked with a quarter turn)

That would be fine, but as far as i know, there is no replacement available. You can improve the connection with a Foam Ring between bonnet and Body (around the pin) and by machining a Groove into the bottomside of the metalpart.
Hmmm... yes, that's an idea. Solve the problem by increasing the effectiveness of the existing system. Edit: One suggestion is to use one or more tap washers.

I've fitted a couple of blocks of dense rubber the same shape as the indent in the bulkhead under the catch plate which puts upward pressure on the catch. Since fitting provided the lines on the top of the fittings are aligned I've not had a problem.
Thanks. This sounds like a solution. Gassing Station | Tamora, T350 & Sagaris | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
