Hi all.

Unfortunately I am forced with a difficult decision! Just purchased this lovely old thing to sit alongside the Tuscan 2S, realistically I know I can't afford to keep both. I COULD, but not comfortably. Still, I thought you all might want to have a nosey!

It's Chameleon Orange, black interior. Ohlins suspension, factory 4 litre S engined, close ratio box, air con, electric lumbar and Tuscan S brakes. Just ticked over 12000 miles. Good god it's quick - the Ohlins are the real deal and the engine feels so strong. The build sheet also mentions "lightweight body"... but I'll take this with a pinch of salt. If truth be known the drive is a different league to the 2S; much stiffer, more taut, more confidence inspiring, although it must be pointed out that the Tuscan is on the standard Bilsteins. That said, the 2S is far better built, more comfortable and easier to drive, all controls lighter and the better tourer (which is why its the Tuscan coming to Italy with us next month, not the T350).

Interested to know more about them though as I’ve heard good things. We’re running on nitrons, and possibly just need softer springs, but the car’s far too skittish on any vaguely poor surfaces. While I’d like to always drive on great tarmac, it’s never going to happen, so looking at a ways to make it more compliant and useable... I’m sure the ohlins aren’t cheap, but if they’re as competent as some say, it might be worth it.
The Ohlins are, in short, awesome. Whilst the tramlining isn't completely eradicated, it's by far the best set up TVR I've driven. My last T350 was on Nitrons and the Ohlins are a huge step up.
