Battery changed out. Housekeeping/maintenance whilst off?

Hello everyone

I'm going to change out the battery on the Sagaris. Whilst the wheel is off is there anything I should check or carry out any maintenance? I seem to remember that there's an earth point somewhere nearby?

My Sag was originally registered in May 05. This is what I found. +ve on the left.



..and with a wooden block as a wedge! Normal practice?

This battery was apparently changed out by one of the renowned TVR specialist... a few years ago!

Looks like I'm going to have to extend the +ive cable. Anybody know the cable size please?
