Hi

I seem to have a seized fan on my Tamora. Thinking that the other is probably close to being on the way out, I thought I'd be better replacing both. Seen these on eBay and wondered if anyone has any experience of them or similar

Their compatibility indicates a match for the Tamora, so are they worth a punt? Or am I just asking for trouble down the line?

Or these

Which look like Power's upgrade offering, but considerably cheaper. (They also do a 220W motor version).

I know very little about car electrics, so if someone could possibly advise.

The SPAL fans are specced at 120W/12A (CFM 1221). Would there be an issue with different fans of spec 220W/18A (CFM 1900)?

Or would you need to keep near (or under) to the original power specs to prevent any issues?

If the fans wiring is standard rather than having been upgraded there would be a big problem with overloading the circuits due to the much higher current draw of the 220 Watt fans
I'm assuming that it is the amperage rather than the wattage which is the important factor?
