Sagaris electrical problem (code 144 - power supply)

My Sagaris is displaying Error code 144: Power Supply. The symptom is that the dashboard display remains on even when I remove the key! This resulted in a flat battery, but the problem returned once the battery was recharged. I have removed the dashboard ignition fuse, which turns off the display! Any ideas??

Thanks Jim - I reckon you're right. I'll look at bit deeper. It got fairly damp in the recent rain before I got a cover over it, could be something to do with that do you think?

Thanks for your help folks. Looks like an ECU problem - it's now been transported to Fernhurst for TLC.
