standard S6 airbox "modification"?

It's fixed at 2 positions, 2 bolts on the back and one bolt on the front, mounted with a "curved slotted hole" and a long bracket coming from the engine block (I have no A/C!).
no alternative holes, but will try to move the lower shell to the top as far as possible...

Hmmm, thats a lot and I'm located in Germany - so maybe I have to go to GB for fitting. Thats a project for 2012... :-)

it's ok - the carbonbox is the only answer to my question...

Yes, thats a possibility, but I'm a bit afraid of drilling holes in that shell. It's very thin and weak all around, so I have to strengthen it and then make the holes leak proof!
