After much agonising I sold the love of my life today (no not the wife, my other love interest that I’ve had for the last year), my prized V8V.

My original plan was to run the car for a year, in that time do a couple of big trips, only one of which happened, but did see me taking her (my Aston was a lady of some distinction) down through the Alps, Monte Carlo etc (a trip of a lifetime).

These cars do get under your skin, I always knew it would be hard to come back to the real world of motoring.

So a big thank you to the forum and members for their advice and guidance, either directly or via others peoples questions. It has been great taking the car to some of the South West PH events and I count myself lucky to have had the experiences.

Of to get some counselling now to help me through the trauma of it.....i.e. the pub!

All the best Dave.

At least you still have the wife to fall back on.

You haven't told us why you've sold it.

Just needed the capital, could not afford the loss of even more money with the ongoing depreciation and to be honest the plan was always to keep it one year.

Just harder to let it go than I had anticipated.
