been asked by a friend if i could drop him off at the church on his wedding day.
this got me thinking that there could be a market for this service {just dropping off the groom and a few photos} i would drive.
two or three weddings a year could help pay the bills
but what could be the pitfalls and what would you charge {db7 vantage}
im in staffordshire area
anyone else doing this

first off if i did it i would get the right insurance.
i looked what others are charging and £350 seems a average figure.
but i recon £250 {depending on milage} seems about a good figure if i keep it local and do say three / four a year
will help with the running costs
not sure where to advertise as i dont want to do it all the time jus a few a year

to be fair the friend who has asked runs a wedding car hire company and its his sugestion says he could get bookings all the time for it , strangly never been interested in any of the 911 ive had

i did a few weddings a few years ago in our 1932 rolls royce and the insurance was an extra £50 for up to 6 weddings {hence the limit i put on events and not wanting to cut into my life to much} but gave it up as i worried to much if the car packed up i would ruin someones day

so 5 weddings 250/300 each thought it was easy money just to drop a groom of at his wedding 2/3 hours max

depending on insurance etc
