I thought i would post this for those that dont know .

THIS MUST BE CARRIED OUT WHEN CAR IS COLD (at least once a week)

1.Turn Ignition on
2.put foot on brake pedal and turn engine on
3.Within about 10 seconds you will here an audible click from under the car .
4.The 'Click' is an indication of a clutch learn.
5.Once you have heard this sound ,turn engine and ignition off and repeat process at least three more times.

Following these instructions will ultimately result in smoother power delivery when pulling away from a standstill.

I do this once every time I start the car. Do I actually need to do it three or four times each go, or will just the once be good enough?

Surely if I do it once then the car has 'learnt' and doesn't require multiple goes? Or, does it only 'partially learn' each time, hence necessitating multiple 'learns'?
Your basically answered it yourself there.

Still seem to be some "urban legands" on this. Some think the A/C must be off, other that the car needs to be cold, and some that it needs to be complted multiple times in a sequence. Is there a defenitive answer?
As i stated yed it needs to be cold .

I can only imagine about the A/C one is that as it cuts in when you start the car it makes a noise a bit like the click.
