Gulf livery for my Vantage
Discussion
Fellow Aston drivers,
I really love the design of the new Vantage GTE and I'm thinking of getting my beloved Meteroite Grey V8 Vantage wrapped to copy the race car livery.
On the other hand I'm concerned that it might be too flashy.
Would you think that this will have a negative effect on the residual value of the car or maybe will add some value?
Any opinion appreciated !

Thanks for all the opinions.
I've just got the colour codes from AM customer care with an official approval from Gulf and now standing by for a quote for wrapping the car.
Costs are a valuable point, so I need to consider the costs for wrapping and removing.
I really like the look especially with the dark (black) parts of the body, which give the car a more sinister (and less flashy ;-) ) look compared to a full Gulf livery.
This would also give the chance to wrap the blue and orange parts only and will look nice with my anthracite wheels.
My intention is to drive the car on public roads and I'm still concerned how the public reaction will be, but on the other hand it's an Aston, it's british and has a racing heritage.
No need to worry for you to see it driving on UK roads as I'm based in Germany :-)
Decisions, decisions... :-)
Cheers,
Christof
