Doubtless many of you have made some improvements to your garage to make it worthy of your pride and joy.

Spot the difference between these 2 photos (18 months apart). How much does RobGT love his car? rolleyes

Absolutely amazing. Please PM me details of where to get the logo. Thank you biggrin

I can see this firm getting a bit of a surge in sales! Fair credit to our neighbour for finding them (they were looking for a logo for their boat not something for our garage). A little tricky to put up (no actual ironing involved!) but well worth it.

Am I missing something?
Is the garage the same size?
I thought that too! The right hand wall seems to have moved somewhat as well!

Great job Rob. Massive garage envy smile
It was a big decision - he had to reduce the size of his woodstore to increase the size of his garage! Builder and electrician - work in progress:

how did you finish the floor where you drive the vehicle into the garage ? Do you use a special strip that matches the floor tiles? Any chance of a picture of this area
cheers
A minor imperfection to be sorted soon. Currently, would you believe, there is a wooden strip there however it is very soon to be replaced by a metal strip like the one below:

I have to take just a little bit of credit for the garage decor and EVO has to take some too. Thanks to the whole photo shoot thing with them back in February they recently sent us prints of the 2 best photos in the magazine. The prints were free but, by the time I'd had them specially framed for the study and copies blown up to poster size for the garage, and purchased the specialist hangers for them that was another 3 figure sum blown! It was worth it tho'! Who else has posters of their own car from an EVO photo shoot on their garage walls? Poster on the right - RobGT driving, poster on the left - nice work by the one-and-only Mr Henry Catchpole biggrin

Now that's what I'm talking about Steve R7 - I headed the topic Garage Queens (plural) 'cos I thought loads of people would post photos of their own fantastic, purpose-designed garages that they house their p & j in! No, Jockman, it wasn't a reference to Rob at all!

Nice clean lines to that one - could do with a nice big AM logo to finish those walls - unless you're not fully committed to the brand?!

Spotted a nice place with a double garage hidden under the garden!
The idea of a garage under the garden makes me nervous - any danger of flooding? yikes

That's fantastic Nick! I love traction engines - its a childhood memory (my Dad & his brother used to show them) - the sight, the sound - even the smell of them! I hope this doesn't make me wierd paperbag

This is the thread that originally sucked me into the Pistonheads world (thanks Molly.)
Its taken a while but I have at last got the garage I want.

Aw thanks Neil! bowtie

That looks fantastic.

Nice to see the old thread resurrected too. Those posters on our garage wall in the photo at the start of this thread were from EVO when Purdey was featured in a comparison test (when she was a standard V8S). She also appeared in Vantage magazine this summer in a write-up about Bamford Rose specials, just before her untimely demise frown

Still - onward & upward yes …… I've just put Pearl away in that same garage after the McGurks trip today and Stratus White looks even better than Tungsten in there under the spotlights thumbup

You should get it turned into wallpaper

Excellent. Go to the bother of blanking out the number plate on the car (God knows why) but leave it visible on the picture on the wall......
I think the one on the wall was an AM publicity shot i.e. not his car wink
