My wife and I got invited to witness the creation of my V12 Vantage Roadster at the factory in Gaydon.
And amazingly, I was allowed to take pictures! (provided that I limited my photos to my own car).

The plan was that we would witness “The Marriage”, but the production got delayed and we missed it. But still, we had an amazing visit. Two visits actually, as we were allowed to come back a day later to see more.

A friendly engineer who was working on my drive train let me tighten some bolts, then my wife and I got to sign the drive train :-)

What an amazing day! My wife and I couldn’t stop smiling all the way back to Amsterdam.
Now we really can’t wait for delivery of our roaring roadster. Shouldn’t take too long now…

The full story and lots of factory floor photos are here:

Red days, blue days... we'll see.
But this will definitely be our choice on sunny days :-)

That must be it then. Was already wondering about the flies on the bonnet...

What a fantastic car! Any photos of the front with the bonnet down? I'd like to see the carbon fiber vents against the blue paint.
No, no pics of the car with a closed bonnet yet.
I hope to receive more pics of the finished car this week.

Geweldig, stoer kleur ook, gefeliciteerd! Wanneer wordt ie afgeleverd? (Hilverum of Eindhoven?).

Enjoy the last wait and of course the first drive!
It will be delivered in Hilversum, at Kroymans. Shouldn't take too long now, couple of weeks maybe?

Good news!

BTW, will you be present at the Skyfall black-tie event today in Zeist?
Nope. I don't do black tie :-)
