First post here guys so be gentle with me.

Taking delivery this week of a 2008 MY V8 vantage roadster this week from Bentley Glasgow.
So will probably have lost of basic questions, heres the first ones for starters.

Looking to buy a battery conditioner, but 2 types seem to be available, cigarette lighter style connector or 3pin connector type. Which type is correct for a 2008 MY Roadster.
During the test drive the seat height was very low, but could only see electric adjustment back / forward and angle of rear .
How do you raise the seat height?
Will study the owners manual when I get it this week, but until then will ask you guys

Thanks
Alan

Thanks,
I did not notice which style of socket was in the boot, but I would assume it is the cigarette style.
I was at the Bentley dealer for a while las Saturday, but it was all a bit of a blur since I was buying an Aston for the first time.
However my attention soon focused when we where agreeing on the deal.
The Bentley dealer agreed to get the car serviced by the Aston dealer in Edinburgh , they are refurbishing the front near side alloy which was a little bit scuffed and the drivers door at the handle has a bubble so they where intending to speak to Aston, but he thought they would get their own coach works to fix it.
Taxed and a years Bentley warranty.

No memory seats but

Titanium Silver
Chancellor red hide
Grenadine red hood
Sport shift
HID headlamps
Power fold mirrors
Wind deflector
Red calipers
Auto rear dimming mirror
No Sat Nav but I have never had it in a car and don't really need it

They had it for sale for a while and eventually knocked £4K off their advertised price.

I bought mine three months ago - it's the exact twin of yours in all respects (except with satnav, but singularly unimpressive).

The owner's book is different to any I've ever seen - most of the info is there, just a question of finding it!

Sportshift used with the paddles is good - in auto it's awful, but nobody seems to use that anyway.

You'll have lots of fun and become best friends with your local petrol station owner.

You didn't say whereabouts in Scotland you are, but you won't be far from some great roads wherever (I'm from Glasgow but lived in Yorkshire for many years and good roads here too!). Looks, noise & handling are unbeatable - enjoy !!!!!!

I looked at some of your other posts, did you get the issues with water ingress and parking sensors fixed?
My car is being serviced by Aston at the Bentley dealers expense and will come with a 1 year Bentley approved warranty.
I guess with each car being hand built each owner will have their own personal experiences both good anb bad, I had already bought the book by Grant Neal and thoroughly studied it on holiday! So I was not surprised to see the standard issues on my car as previously mentioned.
What is your verdict on the car after 3 months?
