TPMS problem Vantage V8 2008

My tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light is on all the time and I have checked all tyre pressures and they are all correct. Recently the front nearside wheel was removed and sent away for re-spray due to kerb damage to the powder coating. The tyre would have been removed and it looks like a new valve fitted because the other 3 original valves all have a coloured ring around them. Could this be the issue because a Google search seems to indicate that the Aston Martin valves are fitted with transmitters that sense low tyre pressure and sends the data to a receiver in the wheel arch? My guess is that the receiver can't communicate with the newly fitted standard valve and is therefore showing a warning light?

Hi Neil, thanks for replying. My wife is using the car at the moment but I will take a look this evening, the coloured lights you refer to, are they somewhere 'below' the glove box?

Ok, I located the coloured lights box under the glove box and this is what I found:

1. Constant flashing amber light on extreme left
2. From left to right there are 4 coloured lights yellow, blue, red, green
3. Switching ignition on shows all lights flashing except blue, which is extinguished.
4. After a while yellow goes off, followed by red but green continues to flash
5. I started the car up, drove into the garage, turned the engine off and final check showed flashing amber light on extreme left, yellow extinguished, blue light has now lit up and is a constant light (not flashing), red is extinguished, green is flashing.

I have been advised that:
Green = O/S/F Blue = O/S/R Red = N/S/F Yellow = N/S/R

On that basis it doesn't seem to be the N/S/F to be a problem as I had suspected, the problem seems to be:

Blue O/S/R which is lit up constantly
Green O/S/F which is flashing

Front tyres were inflated cold to 33 psi and rear to 36 psi, however, what I also find remarkable is that compared with when I checked all the tyre pressures yesterday when the tyres were cold, now that they are hot they have all increased in pressure by 4 psi

Thanks Mikey and Neil, some useful information there, I will check further later this evening or at the weekend by taking it for a run first and then checking with the engine still running. For clarification, the check I carried out was after it had returned from a 15 mile run and I had turned the engine off.

Just back from a 15 mile run and there are two amber lights flashing, the one on the far left which has no colour coding, yellow, red and blue are extinguished but green is flashing so that indicates the problem must be with the front offside sensor and not the front nearside as I suspected.

The next service isn't due until the end of the year and there obviously isn't a low tyre pressure so I suppose I will just leave it and have the sensor replaced at the next service or given what has been said about sensors failing after 5 years I might just have them all replaced.
