Iced Out!

Note to self, after a day of heavy rain, if forst is forecast, leather down the windows and door handles the night before.

Took some getting in the car this morning. A lot of beaded water icicles. Fortunately my detailing spray worked as a de-icer which got the foor handle unstuck and the credit card trick (learned fom owning an Audi A5)along the window seal unstuck the window so it could drop (have heard in extreme cases of Audi windows shattering through brute force attempts at slamming doors shut without the windows dropped).

Any other tips for icy mornings?

Mind you at least having de-iced I am more aware of the prevailing road conditions and the ice warning is straight on. Would not get that in a heated garage!
