Hi all,

Is there a knack to using the battery switch in the vantage? I pressed it in my Vantage- it makes a clicking noise, but nothing seemed to happen (interior light stayed on).

Thanks,
Nick

It's in the boot on mine- under the 12v socket. I believe it changed on the 2007 model from the original design.

It's not a rocket switch, just a push-type one (similar to the heated screen button). It makes a clicking noise somewhere else in the car but nothing else.

The manual suggests that it shuts down everything except:

- Vehicle access, via the remote transmitter
- Engine immobiliser
- Alarm functions
- Door window memory
- Clock

Which allows the vehicle to remain unused for up to 70 days (31 days with a tracker).

This would be really useful, but the button doesn't seem to work as the interior lights stay on.
