Looking like Top Trumps for the Vantage then! smile in all fairness the itch I have is only based on the look of the 458.. would need to test drive poss hire one for a long wend.. I have the same passion as everyone for the Aston brand.. owning only British manual cars so definitely a new experience and wouldn't sell without a lot of thought and sleepless nights!! plus is it the time to sell such a rare car at the moment...!! Sure like everyone will be interesting to see what effect the new manual S has on values.. Also being turned down by Ed at gate security for Burgley would be banghead

Haven't owned but driven several 458's. The double clutch just isn't to my taste, it's far too civilised, that's why I much preferred my Scud'. The current crop of modern F cars have lost the raw edge that I found exciting, too cosseted, too BMW for me, you need to take one for n extended test drive and evaluate.
IMO the V12V is a much better all rounder and doesn't attract the wrong kind of attention like my Ferraris always did.

Phil, love the wheels on your car, what make, model, size are they please
. HRE P40 SC in brushed tinted clear 20" wink

Have you also posted your question on the Ferrari forum, for balance?

I wonder if they are familiar with a V12 Vantage?
Hopefully they have heard of Aston Martin. smile

Good point now that would be interesting!!

That's one of the gripes I have with my 918 GT4.
You lucky chap, I didn't know they made a GT4 version of the 918! :-)
Update!! Did I sell the vantage v12 for the italia! Never!! and I plan to keep it forever bow since I posted luckily with work being busy I've added this little beauty to the black fleet and I can't fault the GT4

Ha, very interesting - it would seem we own 2 of the same cars then, albeit that I have my GT4 up for sale right now. Would love to hear if your thoughts on how the two compare to see if they are in alignment with mine. smile
Hi Adam, yes I thought the same looking in your garage.. You have great taste thumbup your new vantage is outstanding! Sure you will agree both the vantage and gt4 are both great cars, just different in the way they deliver that fun factor biggrin I have owned my v12 now for 4 years and the best way I can discribe it is it's everything you could want in a car... Looks..power...gorgeous interior and that v12 sound!! A car that gets under your skin and you love it. This I have always known really, selling it would have been a big mistake! 5 months on I was in the position to buy something else.. The 458 being a stretch to far the GT4 was my next choice and really enjoying how much fun it is.. Did you say you thought your GT4 was quicker than your vantage? Although I have not experienced the full power of mine yet (running in) .. My feelings are the vantage would leave the Porsche standing! But then in/out of bends bye bye v12,!
