Spoke to James -Witton and Rancid swan at Bamburgh on Sunday and mentioned a run out to Hartside Cafe for a quick cup of tea then back home.

Provisional date I've come up with is Sunday the 6th of August ,

Early start and back home before lunch.

I'll come up with a route beforehand .

Form an orderly queue.

No bacon sarnies / packed lunches / will be provided.

Emails been sent to all except Rancid Swan , he's got his emails switched off.

It's just a quick thrash out , more the merrier.
Anyone is welcome.

Got your email but reply keeps bouncing back?

Still planning to go and looking forward to it.

Route looks good – think I’ll meet up with you at heddon on the wall – the shell garage maybe?

Where you planning to drop down to the Alston road turn off from the A69?

Cheers

Can meet at the shell garage say 9.15 ish ?

I was thinking Haydon Bridge , but if you know a better route , you're more than welcome to take the lead.

Answer to the email given in the email rather than the one through ph , my original email addy is giving me problems atm.

Gents, would you accept a former Aston owner tagging on in a 570s?

All being well, I'll join you at Heddon-on-the-Wall. thumbup
Do we have to ?

Aye , go on then just this once.

Leaving Washington services 9.00 am on the dot , should be at the Shell garage just after 9.15 , let you have a quick drool over the Aston's the shoot off straight away.

A thouroughly enjoyable cruise through the counties of Northumberland , Cumbria and Durham , taking time to admire the superb views of beautiful countryside .

Some nice cars , some good company and not a bad cup of tea at the top.

Bright skies and not a drop of rain to spoil the day.

What more could one ask for ?

I was pleasantly suprised at the genuine interest in the cars that our leather clad motorcycle riding friends showed.

Plenty of them there as well mind .

Wow awesome motors is anyone welcome to these events with a far less exotic motor?
The drive out originated after the AM Sunday run out to Bamburgh , I just mentioned a blast out somewhere and it grew from there.

We had a couple of waifs and strays join us in the M4 and AMG 45 then got a begging letter from another with a McLaren , then late on in the day we added the Ferrari to the mix.

I'll probably look to do another run out late September early October , keep a look out on here .

I'll be calling it the one flip flop run out.
