Slightly worrying, when the passenger (part time driver) says, the sytem cannot recognise Stop signs.

Will we still buy Aston Martins, when all this automated stuff takes over our passion ?

Or mandatory telematics boxes to justify further cuts in police numbers/RTA pressures on NHS.

As a brief aside from the main topic, I heard telematics boxes being discussed on a recent radio programme.
Their inaccuracy was being described. I know little about them, but do some involve downloading an app?
Two different apps were being used on the same journeys, with completely different results.
There were some cases of insurance being cancelled, based on doubtful telematic information. That cancellation then has to be disclosed on the next insurance proposal (with an obvious outcome).

Seems as though it might be something to avoid.

What we saw in the video, was clearly America.
I presume, but I don't know, that it was a normal customer car, and not a factory prototype.

Are UK Tesla customers being allowed the auto pilot software?
From your comment about lack of road markings, perhaps not.

As it works using road markings, could someone overpaint the markings one dark night, and create a false bend to try to take a car off the road? Surely not.
