This has been a great day out in previous years. Lady S and I will definitely be there again, staying at The Balmer Lawn Hotel.
Hope to see you there smile

Was planning on going anyway, but looking forward to it even more now. Glorious weather last year..

Any interest in a PH group, or are most on here going with their AMOC area, or individually?:

"Pre-booked clubs are welcome at our Simply events. Please contact the Events team at least two weeks prior to the event to reserve your space. We will need to know the number of vehicles expected to attend and they will require at least one e-ticket per vehicle taking part. Club Information will be emailed to Club Organisers approximately two weeks prior to the event once we have received final vehicle numbers for your club."

Would be great to meet some more fellow PHs and put some more names and faces to usernames on here!
Great idea Ollie.

I'm happy to arrange a "club" area so I'll contact the events team.

If you would like to be included please add your name and vehicle, Cheers, LBS.

Chaps,
Had a word with the Events Coordinator, she's going to locate us all at the entrance to the arena (tarmac) area, which will save getting your tyres mucky! Bring your wallets - I'll be collecting for the RAF BF!
Thanks so much for this.

Apologies everyone for my lack of posts recently but "on safari" in South Africa with no contact with the outside world.

Normal service will be resumed shortly and keep those entries coming !!!!

Do we have to buy e tickets before and/or as a group?
Buy your own entry tickets but I will arrange the group area and arrange/email/give out the "parking passes" for the day so we are all parked up together.

Hi again all - one month to go so a bit of an update:-

Thanks to Humphrey and the lure of "Red 10" the organisers have promised us a prime spot near the entrance for all of you who have so far expressed an interest.

To access this area each car will need a pass so if you could each message me with your private email address I will send you a copy when I receive it from Beaulieu.

I should also mention that the PH area is now full.

Looking forward to see you there.

Cheers LBS (Tim)

However as stated in my post of Thursday:-

Sorry but the PH display is now FULL so please no more additions to the list as you won't receive a pass.

Thanks to those who have sent a PM so far, I look forward to hearing from the rest of you soon.

Hi all, after much chasing I have now heard from the event organisers at Beaulieu.
Not sure as yet whether we will need passes to all park together - if so I will email them to those on the list by the weekend.
Below is a copy of their email which is all I have heard from them - let's hope it stays dry for the next few days.

"Due to the immensely heavy rainfall we have received over the past few weeks here at Beaulieu, our grass areas around the arena have become largely water logged and we have subsequently had to change the whole layout for the show. As a result of the grass areas being mainly unusable for parking, we have had to allocate the whole arena for parking, meaning that we have had to abandon the club area allocation and are now having to work on a first come, first served basis for parking. That being said, we have an area in mind where we would like to park the Pistonheads group, which will be situated near to “Red 10” as I know that was a previous request. This area will be on one of our usable areas of grass parking very close to the restaurant.
I’m hoping that we receive some more favourable weather in the coming days and look forward to seeing the Pistonheads collection on display at the show on Sunday."

Entry is from 9am and they seem happy enough for us to just say we are with Pistonheads group.

We are coming from all over the country so I don't think a "mass" convoy will work but do meet up with friends etc and I will be leading a sizeable group from The Balmer Lawn Hotel.

Yes, I'd like to join the gang early too and might help with parking arrangements once we arrive? We're staying in a different hotel in Brockenhurst so can pop over. Is an informal 8.30 meet outside the Balmer Lawn for prompt 8.45 leave doable?
That's just the sort of timings I was thinking of.

Wheels rolling from The Balmer Lawn at 0845 smile
