Hi all- I know this probably has been done to death and is subjective but any pointers as to which tyres give the best balance between grip and performance particularly on our greasy slippery roads? Couple of times the arse end of the car has stepped out on fairly dry roads with not a huge amount of throttle, happy with that of course, and expected, but wondered if anyone has nailed the “perfect” tyre for the v8 to get maximum power down?
Thanks
Edit* want a tyre for all year round driving, not for track use, just crappy British road use!

Before concluding on the tyres:

Have you got Sports or Lightweight seats?
Manual or Sports shift?

Seriously though, I put Michelin PS4s on my RS4 and it transformed the car in the conditions you explain. (From Pirelli). Will put the same on my V12VS when it's time.
Thanks for this. Nice garage of motors too!

Cheers everyone- Michelin PSS or PS4S it is then- seems to be the general consensus. Now, to change cats or not.....
