Finally a weight measurement of the New Vantage from a reputable source (sorry for old news, if such has been published by UK car mags before):

First (short) test of the car in sport auto 8/2018 is out now and they weighed it fully fuelled at 1726 kg.
Seems to be a highly specced car as the test car´s price is EUR 216,768.00 [!] as opposed to the base price of EUR 154,000.00 here.

What I do not know is, whether the sport auto weight measurement includes a (75kg?) driver´s weight (as seems to be the case with the EU weight?) or not. But anyway we can assume that their weighing parameters are unchanged for all test cars as their tests always quote the weight as “fully fuelled”. So for reasons of comparison I dug a bit in my sport auto archive and found the following car weight data that might be of interest:

V8 Vantage 16MY Manual + Sport Seats (long term test 6/2018): 1632 kg
V8 Vantage N430 SS II + Lightweight seats (test 3/2015): 1625 kg
V12 Vantage S SS III (“Supertest” 8/2014): 1697 kg
AMG GT (group test 9/2015): 1630 kg
991.2 Carrera S (“Supertest” 6/2016): 1508 kg

The same issue 8/2018 also contains lap times at the Hockenheim “small circuit” (= standard sport auto test track apart from the Nordschleife in the “Supertest”) of the current 991.2 Carrera fleet to be compared with the New Vantage:

New Vantage: 1.10,7 min.
Carrera: 1.10,9 min.
Carrera S: 1.09,7 min.
Carrera GTS: 1.08,4 min.

Auto Bild sports cars 8/2018 weighed a different New Vantage test car at 1702 kg (“Leergewicht”), but they don´t state whether this is fully fuelled or not. Given that this figure is not too far off that from sport auto, it might be the same weighing method.
