Hello Everyone, I'm new here and this is my first posting on a forum so please excuse me if I make mistakes.
I have recently fulfilled my life long dream and purchased my first Aston DB9. It's wonderful. It does however have headlights that face the wrong side of the road. I bought the car in the UK and I live in Sweden. The dealer told me it was possible to switch the lights over from left facing to right facing via a lever. Sadly, this was not the case. Having spent all my saving buying this car I cannot afford to get new headlights for it at the moment. The car must pass its Swedish MOT before Oct or I cannot get it registered here.

Does anyone know if it is possible to 'adjust' the lamp internally or, alternatively, fit Vantage headlights (which are more available) to a DB9?

All help gratefully accepted.

Hi All,

Thank you for your help regarding my headlights. Thanks Hart-SE65 regarding the metal piece behind the lenses. I had heard of this part before and will try to access this when the lamps are out of the bodywork. Regarding the 'lever', it does appear on some AM models but sadly not on the DB9 that I have. I understand it is on the Vantage but was then removed, probably because AM realised they could make a fortune selling new lamps.
Mine are being removed on the 20th so I will keep everyone informed of the progress I make. Hopefully I may be able to help others in the same position.
