V12 vantage official
Discussion
The points system sounds familiar to the one they claimed to use on vanquish zagato (but there will still plenty of flippers - remember the one sold by the finance company at BCA)- but if you buy and flip then presumably you could make the grade via the multiple purchases ?
I heard the price inc vat before extras was under £300k

Prior to the official announcement, even with reported dealer comments we don't know, but GT3ZZZ suggests a 300 car Limited Edition, whereas an earlier post said this is not going to be a limited number run.
Choosing a number at the outset, has in the past often been a vague attempt at guessing demand, so it will be interesting to see whether this model becomes a Limited Edition or a Special Edition. AML finally admitted that they were disappointed, that the new Vantage did not meet their sales expectations (PHers decided why), so perhaps they will take a cautious approach. The pre-announcement demand might help their decision.
Nice marketing ring 300 at 300 plus if successful a cool £90m in the coffers.

I think there are several on here (myself included) that would have purchased a V12 variant of the new Vantage had it not been limited production & therefore priced at an appropriate increase over the V8.
My personal reason would have been more for the experience of a V12 2-seater sports car rather than performance. (The V8 can be easily tuned with software for +100HP etc for those that enjoy such things). The AM NA V12 would have been preferable of course!
However, I have no doubt this new swansong V12 Vantage - as a piece of automotive joy - will be excellent.
I think this summarises my view also - the price is definitely optimistic according to my wallet, but i am sure it will be an icon.My personal reason would have been more for the experience of a V12 2-seater sports car rather than performance. Not just a Limited Edition, but a Final Edition.
Returning in 2022.
Never leave quietly.
So is it a final edition for 2021 - very ambiguous
I too have decided not to go down the route, but hope some people in here do and can’t wait to hear the feedback - I am sure in the flesh with the revised body it will be good.

I cannot understand why AML has issued teasers and offered private viewings so early, if they are not having the official launch for 3 months.
For most previous model launches, AML have usually done the teasing just one or two weeks before making their reveal announcement.
What is different this time?

Twin-supercharging the engine, in addition to the very favorable side effect of being awesome, gives the car "rapid power," as Kelly put it, and said it even has low-down throttle response because they could tune the boost down from 2,000 rpm. Right now, the engine is making under 700 hp, which, in Kelly's eyes, is "on the low side."
But the team has a plan. By the next round—which will be Formula Drift Atlanta on May 6 and 7—it hopes to have a new engine ready to go. That unit will be a 6.8-liter, twin-supercharged V12 that'll put out between 1,000 and 1,100 hp. "We made a custom crank for the bottom, which strokes the motor to 6.8 liters,"
