I’ve been offered a 2013 Vanquish with a whisker under 30k on the clock for £65k. It’s had 4 owners and benefits from full main dealer service history.

It’s not that close to me so before I make the journey I’d like to get thoughts on if the above sounds good value and are the earlier cars ok? Any pointers for what I should look out for?

I had put a deposit on a DB11 but the one I had set my heart on didn’t work out as planned so now I’m considering my options. I have been searching for a Vanquish that is 2015 or newer with the later software and gearbox. Am I better waiting for a later car and spending circa 20–25k more?

The car will be mostly for weekends and trips away with my wife and two young children (both in booster seats) but I have quite a few cars so won’t be clocking up that many miles. Luckily I have a very well regarded Aston Specialist very close to where I live so I’m sure that will be useful.

Interesting thread.

I’ve been looking at 2014 Vanquish with 9,500 miles- and a 2018 DB11 with 34,000 miles and trying to think which to go for.

I only do about 5,000 miles per annum now so really undecided

That is not a 2014 car. That’s a noughties car. I hope you haven’t bought it thinking it’s 2014.
