Just flicking through the DBS specs and noticed that there was a 8mph difference in the quoted top speeds between manual and TT2. Looks like it's down to a lower final gear ratio for the TT2 spec'd car. I assume that this is down to the torque converter on the autobox.

Just me with too much time on my hands, but if you were in charge, why would you allow a difference to creep into the end solution ?

Would doubt that it would actually make much of a difference on cruising in 6th ...

Just trying to imagine the design review board ...

"well Bez .. we're going to have to have a seperate set of ratio's for the TT2 model .. and of course it's going to be a bit slower at the top end ... BUT ... nobody will make Terminator's Dick comments ... "

Have to guess that the gear ratio's already came from the 9. Would you engineer this seperately for just the DBS ...
