Why oh why did I start a thread re kerbed wheels last week ???
Yep, whilst trying to avoid one of the cats, my other half, bless him, kerbed the offside front wheel in our drive over the weekend. So now I have answered my original question. It appears, talking to my dealer service that most wheels can be re-furbished by a guy that comes in once a week no problem. My multi spokes apparently have to be sent away. Three days and £176 for one wheel.
Does this seem realistic to you guys or am I being mugged? I expected around £80 but this seems harsh.
I want my car as perfect as possible but should I trust my wheels to an independent or just swallow the cost as I may have a better recourse if there is a problem?
