£40-50k, which Aston?

Just found £50k in my sons money box, but which Aston to purchase. He, junior, says buy a DB9 whilst I am thinking Vanquish. So, which to choose?

Needs to be resistant to depreciation and will only be used high days and holidays. You guys will have a better view on the market than I, any suggestions gratefully recieved.

No rice burners allowed in Macars garage-only good 'ol British metal. The DB7GT seems to be edging it at the moment, timeless good looks rarity and good performance will complement the others. Now which colour to choose, they all seem to be blue/silver/grey. Were any made in a 'one off colour'?????
