I do hope so. Aston's rather obvious recent search for its soul has in my opinion come up with little more than a fair idea of its own navel's layout.
If the cars must now share their fundaments with lesser machinery, then far better to let a styling house of such daring and progressive panache loose on the marque once more. Perhaps some semblance of a new direction might then be hammered out with the men upstairs.
It could be that i've got it all wrong, of course. Perhaps what they're planning is a brand new db4gt-z, identical but for being a couple of inches higher. That's what they lusted over when they were nippers, after all, so it's bound to work for the next forty years too.
