MR2 Mk2 3S-GEE Clutch change advice
Discussion
A predicted - clutch has just started slipping (123k on the original is not too shabby really though, I expected it when I bought the car a few months back and it was very high.). Went a bit soft changing 3rd-4th and in 4th or 5th if you plant it, it will slip, not a lot of life left in it, but I'll be able to nurse it to next weekend.
Question is - where the best place to get one from, and is there a preffered brand?
How much swearing am I going to need to do at it while fitting? Doesn't look tooo bad, like a FWD car really.
Don't have a ramp but do have a nice indoor garage with plenty of tools, so a steady weekend job i reckon.
Anything else worth changing at the same time while its all out? Annoyingly its just had gearbox oil so that is a bit of a waste.

PW probably too far for you but how about Pete at sbits in Barnsley?
Heard mixed reviews, and its still not THAT close - if I was paying someone to do it, I've got a good local indy just round the corner. However, the difference between ~£80 in parts or ~£300 all in is enough for me to do it myself!
Done a bit more reading since, sounds a bit tricky but I have a garage and all the kid so it should be ok.
