Nissan 350Z insurance for a 19 year old with 1 yr no claims

As per the title really, my son has a 2006 276bhp (non GT pack) 350z, totally stock & is looking for an insurance quote that is not more than the value of the car!!

Does anyone have any recommendations please? He is 19 with 1 year no claims, are there any specialist insurances out there that anyone has experience of or would be happy to recommend. He's taken his time to find the right car & does not really want to have to sell it.

Any advice / help would be appreciated.

He bought the car & was on his employers insurance scheme, however about a month into ownership the employer has decided to terminate said insurance scheme as of September this year. So he bought the car knowing he could get insured (for a very good price) his employer has now pulled the rug from under him.

I think he will need more than luck......

Privately owned cars on a blanket company insurance where the only perimeters are cost of vehicle & engine size. However the company does not pay for the insurance my son has to pay the premium but as the company has negotiated that it is at a substantial discount. The trouble is its all pretty much irrelevant now as its being pulled this Septemvber.
