I am gearing up for a GTR purchase. Looking for a new model. It appears as if 2016 cars with 16k on the clock are going for £63-64k. 2017 models are sitting at £70k and new cars with the spec I want are £82k from carwow. New Nissans now attract a 6% interest charge on finance.

There is a fair drop in price from new, i.e. £82k to £63k for a 2016 model, approx £20k in 2 years. I would not want to stomach this loss myself.

Is there merit in buying new apart from the warranty? Is there much wiggle room on the GTR? I cant imagine it is worth the full asking price less the £5k dealer contribution they are offering on finance.

Any ideas on how Nissan work with discounts and finance? Any guidance would be welcomed.

That is a good plan. Looking to pick up one which is 18 months old for £60-65k.

I see you're in Essex. What part?

That Noble on your profile is lush. Such a beautiful colour.

That's not far at all.

I took a 2018 GTR for a test drive at Nissan Romford. That's where i was left wanting more.

Is it really that bad on a long tour?
