Top Gear

Watching Top Gear last night and seeing the Impreza get beaten by Type-R I couldn't help feel a little bit surprised to say the least. I was actually considering getting a WRX next but if it's slower I think I'll have to look elsewhere!!

Anyone else surprised by the result?

Yes I would hope the STi could trounce a Type-R, different class of car altogether. I agree that in the wet the Scooby would have had a major advantage but surely the standard WRX turbo engine has more performance than that??!! Has me wanting to do a trackday now so I can see just how fast/slow they are.
