330d smokes when on a long journey

Right going to try again and see if anyone can shed some light on my smoke issue ....my 330d smokes when i go on a long journey ie when im doing say 60 for a while it will start to smoke take my foot off and sometimes it will clear and sometimes not have been told it could be turbo but it doesnt smoke when im just driving around locally and the car still goes like stink and i can hear the turbo whistle ..also have been told it could be the seals but surely if that was the case wouldnt it smoke all the time ....any help to sort this would be grateful as i cant go any distance in it and thinking of getting rid thx....😡😠

Hi sorry for not replying the smoke seems to be a grey colour i have replaced the ccv for the vortex type cleaned out the egr i can drive it around all day locally without smoking ...i know when its about to smoke as i smell like a burning oily smell could be a diesel smell... its a 2000 e46 330d se auto if this helps 179000 miles ....run inpa and have a code 13573 which is glow plug or relay wouldnt of thought this would cause the problem as i thought the glowplugs were just used to start from cold...? no dpf on my year...
