I am looking to by a M?35i

Looking around the 2 seems to command a higher price so started lookin at 1s.

The two cars I need help with have about the same spec, auto, pro nav

The 235i is red with black interior, Nov 2014 with 46k miles and is £22k

The 135i is a 5 door, estoril blue with oyster interior, June 2015 with 21k miles and service pack to 2020. Price £21.5k

Would like your thoughts please

Thanks for the replies, there are not many 235i available on the bmw site at the mo up to 25k.

Convertible, although nice, out of my price range and would probable get the 4 series as I prefer the folding hard roof

Its a post facelift car (LCI)

I appreciate and am aware of the merits re handling between the two cars.

I think my question was more to do whith which car seems the better value?

Some interesting replies.

I have decided to let my heart rull my head and am now just looking at 235i's.

Interesting re red, I also like the Estoril Blue and white, hate black though and pref not silver.

I agree re the red interior, looks like the inside of an abatoir smile

If you haven't seen it in the flesh, don't make judgements based solely on photos as it virtually always glows bright red like a babboon's arse in photos whereas in reality it's more of a terracotta reddy brown.
I have noticed that also and dont like it in the flesh so I think Estoril Blue is the colour for me

Also, this car will not be a daily driver for me tho
