What's your thoughts on it if you've owned it for a while?

Taking one for a test drive this week and I'm having to fight off the mrs urge for an evoque as she thought my E82 was a boneshaker.

Yeah I prefer the smaller cars and have owned quite a few hot hatches which are no problem for me but the Mrs is not a fan of the m sport suspension and says it's not practical.

Just wanted to know if the are comfortable really as it will be going a couple of junctions up the M1 a couple of times a day. Mind you I could always tell her to use her own car.

Why is she after an Evoque and why do you want a 240i? Slightly different cars there.

Tried an Evoque and it was horrible, no space inside and not even that comfortable. The engine is crap and a total polar opposite of a 240i.
Typical fight with the the OH, she wants the evoque because it looks nice, She does actually own an A3 so it's not like we need a family car, whoever goes out first in the morning takes the first car on the drive. She hated the suspension in my car with a passion and claimed it gave her a bad back and definitely not lifting patients out of bed

I've had an M240i Convertible for 4 months and love it. Quick, gorgeous engine and very comfortable.

I came from an A45 and the suspension in my M240i is, if anything, on the soft side ! The A45 was hard, my previous Z4 35iS was hard but the M240i is very comfortable. It is an ideal set up for normal road use. My car doesn't have adaptive suspension but tbh I am now more than happy with ride and comfort from the seats.
Cheers, I'm speccing up adaptive suspension and the auto box.

Excellent, cheers.

Get to test drive it on Saturday, I'm hoping BMW Leicester or Coventry can match it.

Well what a bloody amazing car, I've not had anything make me grin like that since my elise.

I can honestly say at 46 I think if I go for one I'd keep it for life.
