E91 rear caliper

I'm in the process of replacing a sticking rear caliper but having removed the old one, I notice it is stamped with 42/20 and the new one with 44/22. I'm not sure what these numbers mean, but are the 2 calipers compatible or not?

Servicing is probably too strong a word but I've tried cleaning up the piston and cleaning and regreasing the slider pins, all to no avail.

That's what I did in the end. Quite a straightforward job, just remember to bleed the brakes afterwards.
