Buying a 2015 X1 Diesel and 2020 Nitrogen Oxide Limits

I am looking at a 2015 X1 with the N47D20O1 diesel engine.

Probably going to take it over 3 years which will mean I need to get it MOT'd after the new stricter emissions limits come in for diesels in 2020.

Do any of you think this is something I should be concerned with/ potentially avoid?

Did a quick google but didnt find anything of note.

talked myself out of it anyway..

would much prefer a 320i or 320d m sport

found a nice 320i but only thing is it has done 28k miles in a year..

looks to be an ex lease car do you think this should be avoided?

its a very good price.

Im coming from a ford cmax diesel so the 320 will feel like a Ferrari!

they are not 100% sure whether it was a lease car etc.

when you say check the idrive do you just mean see what version its on or something else?

• edit did a bit of reading..

so the idrive shows you when certain components need changing.. will check this out before I take the car for sure thanks
